The inaugural opening function of the IGCSE (International General Curriculum of Secondary Education) was held at the school auditorium on 9th June 2014. M.E.S Tirur Taluk Committee President Jb. T. Mohamed Haji presided over the function. Jb. Moideen Kutty Sahib , Chairman , M.E.S Central School Tirur declared the classes open. Jb. Shafi Haji, the Secretary of the School spoke on the occasion.The other management members like Jb. C. Chekku Haji-M.E.S District Treasurer, Jb.K. Abdul Jaleel -M.E.S Unit President , Jb. Ibrhahim Kutty, Adv. Vikram Kumar- PTMA President, Dr. K.Sadaya Kumar- Senior Principal,Mr. D. John -Principal, Mr. Madhusoodnanan -Vice Principal, Headmasters of all the sections and the School Superintendent graced the occasion. School Chairman, in his inaugural address expressed deep satisfaction over the fact that a long cherished dream of providing world class education of the ‘International Curriculum’ to the children of Tirur is blossoming finally at the moment.
